BEUYS, JOSEPH

German artist, born in Krefeld, 1921 - 1986

One of my favorite artists is the enigmatic Joseph Bueys.  He was a perfomrance artist and conceptual artist before anyone heard those terms.  He called his art "action."  There are very few photographs of him or his works still around but I have managed to collect a few.
