Below, The seventh round of the famous "long count" fight between Gene Tunney and Jack Dempsey, Chicago, September 22, 1927.  Dempsey's slow retreat to a neutral corner after knocking Tunney down delayed the referee's count and gave Tunney time to recover.  Tunney won the fight on a decision.
