From "The Memoirs, Volume Two" -
The studio on Fourteenth Street was becoming a regular little theater.
After the success of "Happy Days," our friends at the Napa Valley
Theater Company wanted to do another Beckett. They decided on "Krapp's
Last Tape."
At the time, we were very involved with helping the San Francisco AIDS
Foundation get started with their food bank, offering free food to needy
AIDS patients. sk dunn said that's great, Bill, let's make this a
a benefit for the food bank.

I drew up some sketches for the set.




In the play, Krapp, played by Dan Woodworth, sits
reading his books and listening to himself talking on his old tapes.
Jessie sits listening.

They paid for some nice newspaper announcements.

They also put out a nice press release,

The Napa Valley Theater Company will be performing
Samuel Beckett's KRAPP'S LAST TAPE in April as part of AAA Productions'
ongoing project to support the San Francisco AIDS Food Bank. All
proceeds from this production will be donated to the Food Bank.
