            And, you know, he just looks like a really nice guy, doesn't he?  I mean the kind of guy you'd really like to get to know real well, wouldn't you though?

"Mar Adentro" won the prestigious Spanish award for best picture, below, with his director Alejanfro Amenábar.  Congratulations to you both!

            As I say, I always felt Javier Bardem was a really good guy, you know, and then I'm reading the paper just yesturday, December 12, 2007, and I come across the following:

            That's right, Spanish actor Javier Bardem calls for Bush, Aznar and Balir "to be tried for crimes against humanity."  Good words, Javier!

            And, say!  Here he is winning the Globos de Oro award for best supporting actor of the year.  Congratulations, Javier!

            And that was followed shortly by the award for best supporting actor from the Screen Actors' Guild.  Congratulations again, Javier!
